2018 Wooingtree Pinot Noir

Fermented with 7% whole bunch fruit and matured in French oak for 10 months. Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Sailing out of the glass are aromas of ripe dark to black cherries, plum and anise followed by some toasty oak, earth and spicy dried herb notes. Light to medium weight and quite compact with spicy dark cherry, plum and anise flavours overlaying earthy cedar and spice. Sturdy, drying tannins with a firm mid length, tightly wound aftertaste that shows plenty of spice.
Cellar 5-6 years.
