2018 Woodstock Shiraz

Matured for 18 months in 300 litre French and American oak barrels. Dense inky black core with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Heady liquorice, blackberry and choc mint scents waft from the glass followed by vanillin oak and spicy mocha. Rich and fleshy in texture the palate is awash with lush blackberry and liquorice fruits which melt into elements of choc mint, vanillin oak and spice. Finishes bright and youthful with a polished yet well constructed framework of tannins and a lengthy aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
