2018 Water Wheel Chardonnay

Established in 1974, Water Wheel is probably best known for their rich, peppery Shiraz. They also produce a fuller styled Chardonnay that has an old school generosity and creaminess to it which has built a loyal following.
Deep yellow straw colour with a watery hue. Generous ripe peach, honeycomb, light butterscotch, crème brulee and spice aromas drift through the nostrils. Rich and full with a round creamy feel, flavours of ripe peaches, apricot, honeycomb and crème brulee are layered across the mouthfilling palate. Butterscotch, toast and spice the back drop. Soft acidity with a long luscious finish.
Drink this rich, creamy Chardonnay over the next 1-2 years.
