Impenetrable inky black heart with a very deep dark red black hue. Nosing reveals black cherry, black olive and liquorice aromas which are trailed by vanillin oak, earthy graphite and dried herbs. Medium to full bodied with a chewy mouthfeel, flavours of black cherries, liquorice, vanillin oak, scorched earth and spice are backed by firm robust tannins which impart a grippy feel that extends through to the medium to long finish.
