A small portion of this wine was fermented and aged in neutral French oak (approximately 10%) with the balance in stainless steel. Bright pale straw colour with a greenish tinge to the edges and a watery hue. Ripe pear, tropical fruit and honeysuckle aromas merge with green apple and spicy mango notes. Rich and lusciously textured the palate is filled with ripe pear, honeysuckle, lychee and red apple fruits, finishing off dry with a dash of ginger and spice. Excellent concentration and depth balanced by fresh acidity. Long mouthfilling aftertaste.
