2018 Vasse Felix Classic Dry Red Shiraz

A blend of 98% Shiraz and 2% Malbec matured for 12 months in 3-6 year old French oak barriques. Pitch black core with a deep bright dark red black hue. The nose features prominent black cherry and liquorice aromas with smoked meat, earth and blackpepper notes also chiming in. Medium bodied, juicy black cherry and liquorice flavours have a meaty, muscular like feel. Dried meat, scorched earth and pepper characters feature on an elegant finish. Sturdy tannins with a structured medium length aftertaste.
