Formerly produced under the name Cuvée M, this wine is now called Grand Cru Mandelberg since the 2016 vintage. From one hectare of old vines over 60 years old, planted in a meagre limestone and pebbly, stony soil, as well as marl-limestone, with a south-southeast aspect. Mandelberg is one of only 3 Grands Crus of Alsace that are not adjacent to the sub-Vosges hills.
