Brilliant pale straw colour with a distinct glimmer of green to the edges and a watery hue. Aromas of nectarine, citrus and lemon butter have a toasty overlay with notions of subtle bees wax and gun flint notes also evident. Mid weighted flavours of nectarine and citrus carry plenty of spice with toasty oak lying underneath. Fresh and elegant it finishes dry with crisp acidity and a gun flint infused aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.

Other Reviews….
Reaching further afield to a bona fide cool region, the culture of clarity of fruit and sensitive winemaking is manifest in this streamlined, mineral clad expression. The stone fruit accents are all there, but so is nicely applied quality oak and a vitality that is sub-alpine, cool and the accelerator of good length and persistence. Drink by 2024.
