2018 Torbreck Cuvee Juveniles

An unoaked blend of old vine 67% Grenache, 23% Mataro and 10% Shiraz sourced from vines ranging in age between 40 and 150 years old. A dark red hue frames an opaque dark red core. Attractive spicy dark raspberry, liquorice and plum aromas have an incense and aromatic herb like overlay followed by some peppered earth notes. Delicious dark raspberry, dark cherry, plum and liquorice fruits have a juicy feel, displaying great richness and charm. Scorched earth, dried herb and pepper also chime in. Excellent freshness and drive with polished tannins and a long incredibly moreish aftertaste.
Delightful bistro drinking over the next 3-4 years.
