Totally opaque black dark red core with a dark red hue. A mix of red to blackcurrant and mulberry scents show good lift out of the glass with cedary tobacco, dried herb and subtle spicy bay leaf notes also chiming in. The medium bodied palate is richly fruited with blackcurrant and plum over a vanillin cedar, light tobacco, earth and bay leaf back drop. Finely grained tannins are well integrated. Ripe, medium length aftertaste.
Cellar 3-4 years.
Alc. 14.4%

Other Reviews….
The Topograhy tier is regional, single vineyard-focused, with a clear accent on the altitudinal sites. A plump and relatively soft cabernet, with green bean tannins, gently astringent, expanding across the back end with time in the glass to confer a whiff of authority and poise. Clear varietal signposts of black currant, bay leaf and olive make for good drinking. Drink by 2026.
