Impenetrable inky black colour with a very deep dark purple black hue. Nosing offers up black cherry, blackberry and liquorice aromas followed by some lightly smoked vanillin oak and blackpepper. Full and rich with a dense opulent mouthfeel, lashings of black cherry, liquorice and blackberry fruits are backed by vanillin cedar, scorched earth and blackpepper characters. Firm robust tannins provide ample structure. Slightly dryish and muscular on the finish with impressive length to the aftertaste.
