2018 The Remarkable State Grounded Old Vine Shiraz Mataro

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. Lavish black cherry, liquorice and blackberry aromas flow from the glass followed by vanillin oak, scorched earth and blackpepper. On the opulently textured palate rich black cherry, blackberry and liquorice fruits meld into toasty vanillin oak, dried meat and peppered earth nuances. Velvet smooth tannins with a long fleshy and quite seductive aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
