2018 Tenuta Montanello Dolcetto d'Alba

Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a bright purple red hue. Freshly crushed raspberry and red liquorice aromatics meld into inky earth like notes and fresh herbs. Light in body, red cherry and red currant fruits are underpinned by fresh crunchy acidity with subtle elements of inky earth, fresh herb infusions and spice also present. Dry, faintly chalky finish with a light, lively and tart aftertaste.
