2018 Tentenublo Xerico Rioja

A blend of 85% Tempranillo and 15% Viura grapes. Dense midnight black colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Distinct black cherry and red liquorice aromas are overlaid by leather, scorched earth, vanillin cedar and peppered herbs. Restrained, taut and energetic, the palate has an elegant flavour profile of red to black cherries, earth, leather, dried meats and spicy dried herbs. Bright finish with a tightly knit tannin structure leading into an aftertaste that has a lean, crunchy like feel to it.
