Matured for 11 months in mostly older French oak. Pitch black heart with a deep dark red black hue. Spicy plum and liquorice scents morph into notions of graphite, black olive and white pepper. Mid weighted and quite supple upon entry, the palate is decorated with dark plum and liquorice fruit which is underpinned by earthy graphite and pepper nuances. Finishes with a lick of fresh acidity, structured tannins and a medium length aftertaste.
