2018 Tellurian Nero d'Avola

Matured for 11 months in older French oak. Totally opaque black core with a bright dark red hue. Elevated dark plum, liquorice and dark cherry aromas have a subtle incense overlay with some light earth and fresh herb notes ensuing. Mid weighted, bright and juicy, vibrant plum and cherry fruits overlay a back drop of liquorice, faint earthy incense characters and infusions of fresh herbs. Spicy finish with lively acidity, fine grained tannins and a medium to long aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
