Produced from dry grown vines planted in the 1960’s. Deep black dark red heart with a dark red hue. Intense black raspberry and liquorice scents are intermeshed with fresh black cherry notes, vanilla, light scorched earth and spice. Rich, juicy black raspberry and liquorice fruits flood the mouth underpinned by fresh acidity and a sturdy tannin structure. Opulent yet chewy mouthfeel with elements of vanillin cedar, earth and spicy herbs flowing onto the back half. Concludes long, bright and succulent.
