2018 Tarrawarra Estate K Block Merlot

Midnight black heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Nosing offers up intense ripe blackcurrant top notes which are followed by some tobacco, mulberry, earthy cedar, dried herbs and spice. The generously fruited, mid weighted palate features rich blackcurrant fruit over mulberry, earth, vanillin cedar, tobacco and dried herb characters. Sturdy fine grained tannin structure with a ripe, slightly chewy medium length conclusion.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
