2018 Tapanappa Foggy Hill Vineyard Pinot Noir

Aged in French oak barriques of which 30% were new. Barely semi translucent dark red colour with black tinged edges and a light red hue. A perfumed bouquet is lead by violet top notes with ripe dark cherry, subtle anise, strawberry, fresh herb, earth and spicy cedar notes ensuing. Light in body the palate is decorated with a power wave of delicious dark spicy cherry and ripe strawberry fruits. Lying underneath is subtle anise, forest floor and spicy cedar nuances. Supple feel with sturdily built tannins providing ample structure. Long spicy, generously fruited aftertaste.
