Fermented in seasoned small French oak barrels where the wine remained to mature on yeast lees for 8 months. Brilliant pale straw colour with a vibrant glimmer of green around the edges and a watery hue. Aromas of ripe pears and apricot are overlaid by honeysuckle notes with lemon butter, light bees wax and spicy citrus also evident. Round and creamy in texture, flavours of peach and apricot meld into honeyed bees wax characters and spice. Finishes dry with good freshness and a medium to long aftertaste. Will continue to fill out with more bottle age.
