2018 Stemmari Creato Nero d’Avola

Dark red black tinged core with a dark red hue. Nosing offers up scents of rose petals, morello cherries and red liquorice infused with dried herbs and graphite. Light in body the palate has a savoury flavour profile of morello and red cherry fruit over dried herb and earthy graphite like characters. Energetic acidity and slightly chalky tannins lend a subtle muscular feel to the finish.
