Midnight black heart with a deep dark red black hue. Lifted ripe plum and aniseed aromas combine with fennel, smoky cedar and spicy pepper notes. Rich, silky textured flavours of spicy dark plum, ripe blueberry and liquorice decorate the medium to full bodied palate with notions of fennel, earth and blackpepper lingering underneath. Velvet smooth tannins. Excellent depth with a long plush and richly fruited conclusion.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
