Matured for 9 months in seasoned French oak barriques. Midnight black heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Lifted blackcurrant and black olive aromas are followed by some cigar box, earth and bay leaf notes. Medium to full in body the palate carries a rich flavour profile of blackcurrant and mulberry infused with a mix black olive and cigar box characters. Some earthy bay leaf also chimes in on the finish. Fine grained yet sturdy tannin structure with a long aftertaste.
