2018 Spence Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red core with black tinged edges and a light rustic red hue. Fragrant aromatics of violets, dark cherries and strawberries drift from the glass with forest floor, meaty cedar like notes and spice also chiming in. Delicious red to dark cherry and strawberry fruits are layered across the expansive palate with a supple feel. Forest floor, infusions of fresh herbs and spicy cedar ensue. Silky smooth tannins finishing long and fresh with an elegant savouriness.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.

This is a well muscled pinot with a mix of savoury and spicy notes threaded through plum/black cherry fruit. It's on a journey that should end well, even though '18 wasn't an easy year. Drink by 2028.
