2018 Soumah Hexham Vineyard Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Aromas of nectarine, pear and citrus subtlety infused with gun flint are followed by some light biscuity characters. Medium bodied the palate has flavours of ripe nectarines and fleshy peaches over a background of dried honey, light cashew and spice. There’s a very elegant creaminess to the mid palate but it finishes fresh. Good length with a medium to long aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
