Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Pronounced red to black currant and mulberry aromas intermix with cedary tobacco notes, black olives and spicy dried herbs. Medium bodied the palate is generously flavoured with ripe blackcurrant and mulberry fruits which meld into cedary tobacco characters, black olive and spicy infusions of bay leaf. Fine grained yet supportive tannins provide excellent structure. Shows plenty of varietal character on the medium to long aftertaste.
