2018 Singlefile Tempranillo

This Tempranillo was matured in a mixture of 30% single use French oak barriques and 70% 2 year old French oak for a period of 10 months. Totally opaque black dark red core with a bright dark red hue. Freshly crushed ripe dark cherry and dark raspberry scents intermix with hints of liquorice, inky earth and spicy fresh herb infusions. Light to medium weight with a fresh, elegant feel, crushed dark cherry and raspberry flavours sit over some liquorice, subtle inky earth characters and infusions of fresh herbs. Lively finish with good vibrancy, fine grained tannins and a medium length aftertaste.
