Made with 50% whole bunch fruit. Totally opaque black dark red core with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Elevated ripe black cherry and liquorice aromas merge into some subtly smoked cedar, earth, fennel and pepper notes. Full in body, rich black cherry, dark plum and liquorice fruits are underpinned by vibrant acidity and firmly built tannins which give the wine a muscular feel. Elements of earthy dried herbs, fennel and pepper ensue. Excellent depth with a long chewy aftertaste.
