2018 Silkwood Estate The Walcott Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red in colour with black tinged edges and a light red hue. Violet and dried herb tinged aromas of dark cherries and ripe strawberries show good intensity followed by forest floor and spicy cedar notes. Supple and spicy, the light to medium bodied palate has delicious dark cherry and ripe strawberry fruits flowing across it. Elements of dried herbs, forest floor and spicy cedar then chime in to provide additional interest. Velvet smooth tannins with a long expansive aftertaste that’s highly savoury.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
