2018 Shaw & Smith Sauvignon Blanc

Fruit was sourced predominately from Shaw & Smith’s estate vineyards at Balhannah and Lenswood, complemented by a small number of highly valued growers fruit.

Brilliant water like colour with a light greenish tinge to the edges. Intense passionfruit, citrus and green apple aromas dominate the nose over hints of lime and light herbaceous notes. Excellent concentration delivering mouthfilling flavours of passionfruit, tropical fruits, melon and green apple which prevail over a back drop of citrus and some subtle grassy characters. Finishes with crisp acidity and a long passionfruit, melon, green apple, lime and faint grassy aftertaste. A relatively simple but intensely flavoured Shaw & Smith Sauvignon Blanc.
