Produced from 100% Gaglioppo grapes. Dark red in colour with a brick red hue. The nose emits a mixture of dried, red and sour cherries infused with dried herbs followed by some scorched earth and spice. Medium bodied dark cherry flavours have an earthy undertone with elements of dried cherries, liquorice, subtle dried herbs and spice making an appearance on the back half. Chewy tannins provide some grip on the ride through to the savoury aftertaste.
