Dense midnight black heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Pronounced ripe blackcurrant and liquorice aromas are complimented by toasty vanillin cedar, black olive, dusty earth and spice notes. Full in body, rich blackcurrant fruits flood the mouth with notions of dark plum, toasty vanillin cedar, earth and spice also apparent. A firm yet well integrated tannin structure imparts a sturdy feel to the long finish.
