2018 Riposte The Cutlass Shiraz

Totally opaque black core with a deep bright dark red black tinged hue. The nose has inviting aromas of black cherries and liquorice alongside smoky cedar infusions, clove, some meatiness and black pepper. Mid weight with a fleshy mouthfeel the palate has flavours of dark cherries and liquorice which morph into smoky cedar elements, clove, subtle dried meats and blackpepper. Very polished tannins finishing with good freshness and a savoury aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
