2018 Portsea Estate Pinot Gris

Matured in French oak (5% new) for just over 6 months. Brilliant pale straw colour with flecks of green to the outskirts and a watery hue. Lifted aromas of ripe pear and apple are overlaid by honeycomb like notes followed by some faint musk and spice. Rich with a creamy like mouthfeel, the palate is draped with ripe pear, honeycomb and red apple flavours which meld into subtle elements of musk and spicy quince. Off dry finish with brisk acidity and a medium to long aftertaste.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
