Matured in French oak. Very deep black dark purple colour with a dark purple red hue. Peppery scents of inky plum and liquorice meld with dried herbs, some meatiness and spicy vanillin cedar. Juicy dark cherry, plum and liquorice flavours are underpinned by notions of clove, an earthy meatiness and spicy vanillin cedar. Dry inky finish with slightly chalky tannins and youthful acidity. Medium length conclusion.
