2018 Patrick Two Blocks Range Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon

Matured in a combination of new and second use American (60%) and French (40%) oak for a period of 18 months. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Pronounced blackcurrant aromas meld into vanillin cedar, dusty earth, light tobacco and bay leaf notes. Rich blackcurrant fruits are cast across the mid weighted palate with a velvety feel. Ensuing are subtle notions of choc mint, dusty vanillin cedar, gentle infusions of bay leaf and spice. Beautifully integrated, fine grained tannins provide structure. Plenty of power right through to the long ripe blackcurrant driven finish.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.
