2018 Parker Coonawarra Estate 95 Block

A blend of 80.5% Cabernet Sauvignon and 19.5% Petit Verdot matured in 73% new French oak for 17 months. Dense inky black in colour with a deep dark red hue. Stemming from the glass are elevated scents of blackcurrant and ripe mulberry which are followed by cigar box, dried herbs, subtle earth and spicy vanilla notes. Rich blackcurrant fruit casts an opulent feel across the full bodied palate with liquorice, vanillin cedar, earthy tobacco characters and spicy bay leaf the back drop. Excellent concentration and power with a firmly built tannin structure and long generously endowed aftertaste.
