2018 Paolo Scavino Dolcetto d'Alba

Opaque dark red black colour with a bright purple red hue. Alluring aromas of freshly crushed dark cherries and blueberries mix with liquorice, earthy tones, fresh herbs and a spicy inky quality. Light to medium weight the palate has a savoury mix of red to dark cherry and red liquorice fruits which overlay a back drop of inky earth, fresh herb infusions and spice. Finishes with a youthful freshness and finely integrated tannins. Savoury medium length aftertaste.
