2018 Ostler Caroline's Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red core with black tinged edges and a light brick red hue. Fragrant dark cherry, subtle violet, dried herb and anise scents overlap earth, stalk and spice notes. Supple on entry the palate is generously flavoured with a mix of dried to dark cherry and anise which morph into dried herb, toasty oak, earth and spicy stalk nuances. Polished tannins with a dryish, ever so slightly bitter finish and a medium length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
