Dense black as night heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Intense ripe blackcurrant and mulberry aromas meld into cedary tobacco characters, a whiff of choc mint, earth and spicy bay leaf. Medium to full in body the palate is layered with rich blackcurrant fruits which overlay a back drop of mulberry, vanillin cedar, tobacco and spicy bay leaf. Polished mid palate feel with a fine grained yet sturdily built tannin structure. Concludes long and generous with classical varietal refinement.
