2018 Nocturne SR Cabernets

Impenetrable inky black colour with a very deep bright dark red black hue. Refined red to blackcurrant and mulberry aromatics are followed by tobacco, suggestions of vanillin cedar, black olive, dried herbs and bay leaf. Medium bodied and blessed with elegance the palate is filled with rich freshly crushed blackcurrant and mulberry fruit that has a youthful inky feel to it. Cedary tobacco characters, dried herbs and spicy bay leaf ensue. Tightly grained tannins and bright acidity make for a grippy finish. Concludes medium to long and tightly knit. Needs some time.
