2018 Nepenthe Altitude Tempranillo

Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Aromas of dark cherries and plum mix with some liquorice, light vanillin cedar and traces of mint. Medium bodied and elegant in its feel the palate has flavours of red cherries and red liquorice gently infused with mint over a lightly earthed back drop. Dryish finish with fresh acidity. Fine grained tannins and a modest aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
