2018 Muster Shiraz

Dense inky black colour with a deep dark red black hue. Pronounced liquorice, black cherry and blackberry aromas are overlaid by toasty vanillin oak with some earthy dried clove and spice notes also evident. Rich with plenty of succulence and an opulent texture, concentrated blackberry, black cherry and liquorice flavours are compromised by a fairly hefty dose of toasty vanillin oak on the back half. Some scorched earth and pepper elements are also evident. Velvet smooth tannins and solid power with a lingering charry vanillin oak aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
