Inky black heart with a very deep bright dark red black hue. Crushed berry aromas of dark raspberries and plum juice are followed by some liquorice, vanillin oak and subtle inky earth notes. Vibrant and mid weighted the palate has flavours of dark cherries and plum juice sitting over inky vanillin oak, earth and spice. Fresh, almost crunchy like acidity and slightly chalky tannins lead into a dryish, medium length finish.
