A pinot of compelling flavour intensity and refined, granular tannins. These are as much a product of site, judicious extraction and well appropriated oak regime (15 months; 20% new French). Ferrous. Black cherry, satsuma plum and Asian spice. Forceful. Long and plush, without being fat or sweet. The tannins - grape and oak - operate as ample reins to the wine's exuberance. Drink by 2026.
