2018 Monterra Mt Pleasant Pinot Noir

Quite deep in colour with a dark red core that has black tinged edges and a bright red hue. Violet infused scents of ripe cherries and red plum are followed by vanillin cedar, a light dusting of earth and fresh herb notes. Savoury spicy red cherry and plum fruits meld into subtle earth, vanillin cedar and spicy dried herb characters. Good generosity of fruit with slightly dryish fine grained tannins and a vibrant underbelly. Fruity medium length conclusion.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
