2018 Mitchelton Print Shiraz

Impenetrable inky black heart showing tremendous saturation of colour. Wafting out of the glass are potent aromatics of ripe blackberry, black cherry and liquorice which marry into vanillin oak, scorched earth and blackpepper notes. Rich black cherry, liquorice and blackberry fruits are underpinned by a muscular tannin structure with vanillin cedar, scorched earth, black olive and blackpepper characters sitting on the other side. Opulent graphite like texture finishing firm and slightly grippy. Outstanding power and depth with a long ripe chewy aftertaste.
