Matured in American oak for 12 months. Dense inky black colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Pronounced liquorice and ripe blackberry aromas mix with smoky vanillin oak and spice. Full in body with a mouth coating texture, a slathering of prominent toasty vanillin oak overlays the rich blackberry and liquorice fruits. Spicy finish with velvet smooth tannins and a lingering aftertaste of toasty vanillin oak and spice that has plenty of flesh to it.
