2018 Merricks Estate Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with black shaded edges and a light red to brick red hue. A bouquet of spicy dark cherries, strawberries, violets and rhubarb sail out of the glass with plenty of intensity. Dried herb, forest floor and delicate cedar notes lend further complexity. A delicious mix of red to dark cherry, strawberry and rhubarb flavours extend across the palate with dried herb, forest floor and spicy characters also evident. Supplely textured it possesses silky tannins and finishes with a slight tang, good length and spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
