Matured in French oak for 12 months. Semi translucent bright dark red colour with a light red hue. The nose has a pretty aromatic profile of violets, ripe red cherries and strawberries followed by hints of anise, forest floor and delicate spicy cedar. Light in body with a juicy supple feel, tasty ripe cherry and strawberry flavours are delivered with ample power. Subtle nuances of forest floor, fresh herbs and spicy cedar also chime in. Finishes bright and fresh with polished tannins and a delicious medium to long aftertaste.
